I was born into a family of 7 as a twin (who lives in California.). Since high school, I attended several colleges before getting a degree in Special Education. I worked as a special education teacher for the last 37 years before retiring. The students I worked with were moderately cognitive mentally impaired. I been retired now for 3 years, and loving it. I have gone to the following colleges: GVSU, LMC, WMU, and MSU. I have become involved in the Berrien County Relay for Life, a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. I was divorced in 1989 and, I received full custody of my two children, now adults. One of my greatest joys is being a grandparent. In addition to working with Relay for Life, I am also a member of NAMI and attend the Mental Health Court Committee.
