Summer Balfanz is a high school student from Roseville, Minnesota, who has shown a strong commitment to both community service and academic excellence. Currently attending Roseville Area High School, Summer Balfanz is a prominent member of Minnesotans for a Smoke Free Generation, where she contributes to statewide efforts aimed at reducing youth smoking and vaping. Her involvement includes organizing campaigns, designing educational materials, and advocating for legislation to support public health.

In addition to her advocacy work, Summer Balfanz has gained practical experience through roles such as a teaching assistant at North Suburban Summer Academy, where she supported classroom activities and worked with gifted students. Summer Balfanz has also worked as a cashier at Midwest Dairy, handling customer service and promoting the dairy industry. Her volunteer efforts extend to the Twin Cities Marathon and self-employment as a babysitter and pet and plant care provider.
