They've been ramping up in intensity with the last few sets and now we get to the techno. Again this is not for the purists but features a lot of stuff that floats my boat. It starts a bit soft but has enough to rattle your skull and make you want to lie down or go clubbing for the weekend by the time it finishes.
To those friends and listeners I've made on Mixcloud that ain't really into the techno then please no expectation or need for listens or comments if you don't dig it. For those that do then please tuck in and have your fill. I hope you enjoy and it knocks your socks off.

Sorry just one more thing to mention...where 'Atlantide' just suddenly breaks into that filthy bass was absolute class...had to say that. Top notch mate!
+++ bonus points for that one, as I frikkin love that too. It sounds like a generic techno tune and then WOPPPPP in comes a totally different tone change and this filthy bassline. An excellent release on second state.
F@&k me!!! Just getting prices from contractors to put the roof back on my house after listening to this mofo!!! Class stuff Stuart. I've said this to you about your heavier mixes before, what impresses me is that you can go heavier but still keep heart in it. They never become monotonous pounders, there is always interesting ups and downs and exciting sounds, melodies and basslines! Easier said than done but you always make it seam easy mate! What about 'Dockyard Vibes' tune and a half that one!! Nice bit of acid heaven with 'Zodiac'....absolute class! 'Self Control' was something special too....that one would be amazing pounding out of a big system at 3 a.m.!! As always, top work mate, thanks!!

I'm well chuffed you think the above about my techno mixes mate, because I am very particular about my techno these days. I know exactly what you mean as there are a lot of sets I check out that are good in parts but then flat grey steamrolling samesoundz for another 20 or 30mins. It doesn't need to be so dull and without melody or a driving bassline. I'm glad you agree 😁😁😁

Ha ha thanks pal glad you liked it. I know what you mean about the hard, but not scary. I love a bit of techno but I'm getting more and more particular about what I like these days. Its so hard to hear the right kind of Techno among the many sets on Mixcloud. Some start ok and then it goes nosebleed very quickly. With the right energy and taking out all the unnecessary noise in some tracks techno is a timeless excellent form of music. And its good to get shitfaced to also 😁😁😁

I hate this app... 85 and sunny... sitting by pool with my headphones on...could feel the puffs of air hit my ears the music was that banging... brains rattling but in a good way... cleared away the mental debris lol...love this...Crushing My Smokes 🤣, Snake Away, Python, and Red Alert some standouts. Heya Fitz, listened to this this afternoon sitting by the pool (85 degrees 🌞
I'm never going to miss a Fitz MixCloud session, even if it is a slight diversion into hard core techno and not for the faint of heart. I feel like I just left a 90's warehouse party and even though I'm sitting in a relatively calm environment at my desk, my heart rate is more than slightly elevated. I'm going to need to tune in now to a Morning After session in order to calm me back down. :) I think my favorite track on here was Zodiac with that killer retro 303 bass line tearing through the landscape dominated by that relentless heart pounding 4/4 beat. I always wanted one of those synths. Such a cool sound. Excellent job, Mr Fitz! Looking forward to more of your music in future. Cheers, Scott
Ha ha cheers Scott sound pal. Yes that Zodiac track is emerging as the main fave in the set. And rightly so its got a real sentimental old skool techno vibe to it thats not hard to love.
