Ryan Meinerding/Marvel Studios Disney is betting big on its 2019 streaming service called Disney Plus, the entertainment giant's forthcoming service to stream almost all things Disney. It'll be the the hub to watch to big-budget Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universe films -- Avengers: Endgame will be available to stream starting Dec. 11 -- plus all the Pixar movies and a bunch of original shows and movies based on those franchises and others. 

And at Comic Con in July, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed just how essential Disney Plus will be for Marvel fans. 

The characters and narratives of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be knitted together between theatrical movies and the original series on Disney Plus.
