When I heard my first punk rock records in the early 80's I fell madly in love and wanted to share this wonderful music with everyone I could. I would load my car with records to bring to any party that had a turntable in the living room and blast the beautiful sounds of Black Flag, Descendents, Dag Nasty, The Sex Pistols and others to my friends who only listened to whatever the FM dial had fed them to that point. Later I would host my first college punk rock radio show and that eventually turned into a 30 year run of hosting live punk rock shows on the FM dial in Arizona with The Skapunk Show on The Edge 1039 and currently as the host of Go Punk Yourself 7-9pm Sunday Nights on 98KUPD!
