Steve is a Music Tech Lecturer and DJ/producer from North East England and the founding member of SoulBasics. Over the past 6 years he has worked on a number of single releases with are featured on both UK and international labels.
SoulBasics arrived on the house music production scene early 2006 with releases ‘City-Lite’ and ‘The Phusion EP’ earning them respect and support from some of the scene’s biggest names.
Steve has since released his own individual singles on Seed Recordings, Just Deep Music and Baker Street Recordings alongside SoulBasics productions featured on Seamless Recordings and Grooveland Music.
Along side single releases, Steve has remixed tracks for Jay Tripwire, Boddhi Satva, Licksamba & Tommy Largo amongst many others.
Steve's latest E.P is now available on the Ginkgo Music imprint with more coming on Grooveland Music this year.
