Since its emergence onto the scene by the Godfather of House, Frankie Knuckles in the early 1980s, the distinctive rhythm of Chicago House music has cultivated a vibrant cultural legacy of community, love, and healing. As is the story of so many others who have been infected by the divine goodness of this music, it is from here that Steve Maxwell, the DJ, was born.
In 2016, Steve established his own brand, Rhythm Factory Music by DJ Steve Maxwell, representing his passion for bringing a variety of carefully selected musical rhythms and textures as expressions of love for this movement/culture/community we call house music.
