Steve Last is a music producer, recording artist, composer and musician. He is known in the world beat arena as the creator and mastermind behind the Galactic Caravan project, as well as being the artist behind Global Beat Manifesto and Neo Tango Syndicate. The Galactic Caravan cd's are being released through CIA/Universal Music and Global Beat Manifesto and Neo Tango Syndicate has been released through Eclectic Harbor/Believe Digital.
Other recent projects he has created and produced were "Baghdad Heavy Metal" (Universal Music Group) a fusion rock/world beat production featuring an All Star cast of Middle Eastern artists as well as iconic American artists Sammy Hagar and guitarist Steve Hunter, who is known for his work with Peter Gabriel and Lou Reed, " O +" an electronica/world beat production for poet/performance artist Victoria Cyr (Eclectic Harbor), as well as the recent cd for Issam Houshan (UMG) (Syrian tabla legend and master drummer behind the Bellydance Superstars).
