Steve O’C is a Manchester-based DJ, joining the dots between soul, disco, funk, Balearic, house and plenty around the edges. His sets are driven by the room and the records rather than one genre, moving from warm daytime selections through to a full dance floor.
Over 20 years, Steve has played bars, clubs, beach venues and festivals across the UK and Europe, including Glastonbury, Bestival, The Big Chill and Electric Elephant, with recent appearances at Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul, Another Love Story and Electrik. He’s also curated music for global brands and clients, tailoring selections to different spaces and audiences.
Steve spent five years running Ministry of Sound Radio in London, overseeing specialist programming, and has curated compilations including Chilled Afterhours, with mixes syndicated to radio stations and airlines worldwide.
His long-running Float On mixes follow the same approach: good records, loosely joined, never too worried about genre.
