OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The Stetson is a music venue in Ravenshead Nottingham.
We like live music. We don't like backing tracks.
We don't like mime artists.
Bring on the bands that can actually sing and play their instruments!
We would much prefer a solo artist who sings and plays an instrument to hearing an orchestrated sound that bears no relationship to the person standing on the stage!
Don't expect a cheap night at The Stetson.
We pay bands a decent fee which is reflected in the ticket price.
For too long there have been cheapskate venues who expect artists to play for next to nothing just because the audience is too mean to pay realistic ticket prices.
We do not do Free Shows or Unticketed Shows - That is an insult to the artists performing!
Lastly . . . .We welcome writers from any magazine as long as they buy a ticket. Surprisingly we don't get visits from writers, we had one writer who had never seen Albert Lee. Amazing Eh?
