I am Marcus Young -"The original DJ Mr. E" and got hooked on DJing within my 2nd year of high school, 1979. “DJing is not work for me".......Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, I really didn’t start to learn how to DJ until hooking up with one of my best friends and DJ mentor, "DJ King George". Year 1987. We were the main jocks at a club called "Slims" on south King Drive. This is where the phrase, "Sharing Life in a Mature Setting" was born.
