Hughs Story is an open-format DJ who has a love and respect for all music genres. Growing up within Jamaican culture, he picked up a love for blending and mixing music. He first started DJing in high school when his boss sold him a pair of technique turn tables for $350. He then began to perform music within his community.

It was also around this time that Hugh was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, an experience that changed his perspective and approach in life. His goal became to serve others with his gift of mixing music and providing an environment where everyone can come together and have fun.

Hughs Story has held residency at some of the most popular clubs and lounges in Central Florida, such as Gilt NightClub (formerly known as Roxy Ono Nightclub), Mojitos, Club Cocos, and Club Boss.
