Stefano Cherubini, aka SteNo, approached to music at the age of 15, when he discovered acid jazz and decided to start to play the bass guitar. Later he co-founded, with other 7 musicians, a progressive rock cover band (King Crimson, Hawkind, Van Der Graaf Generator, Tool) called “Mercato Nero”.He decided to leave the band as he felt in love with technology and in 2006 he started a collaboration with Michele Guidarini, “Mum’s Enemy”, programming with Reason software, searching for new beats.Straight after he started mixing with Traktor and found his way as a DJ. SteNo is basically a techno dj, his sound gets interesting during his performances minimal tech-house, he is specialized in building dance floors. His musical research brings him to improve a production plan, transforming his background as a musician into digital harmonics, tunes and bass. He joins Alterazioni Festival introducing, in 2010, “Noise Project B/W explosion”. At the beginning of 2011 SteNo joins MothLab.
