Chef Stef or DJ Stefan as he is now professionally known started his career in music from the tender age of 16. As a kid he used to enjoy playing his fathers multi-cassette decks and recording off the radio which led him to his profound love for music. The roots of his music come from the early 80-90s techno and trance, which led him to build up his collection from there. As luck would have it, a DJ saw his enthusiasm and taught him the basics of mixing. Inspired by this knowledge he dreamed one day becoming a DJ. His passion for house music led him to practice and refine his beat matching skills and infuse them with modern techniques of cueing, looping, remixing and ample use of various effects into his most recent sets. Although trained in the traditional analog mixers, he has broken away from the path and is leading the stream of digital djing with his own unique style.
