Static Quo is a Jungle DJ and aspiring producer with multi genre tendencies. Born of a musician, a passion for music was natural & it sparked early on in childhood. The journey into music theory began in elementary school, first learning sheet music for the viola, then the trumpet which remained a primary instrument for years to follow. Once infatuated by the horn, she became the youngest 1st chair in the school band, joined district band, and was the youngest member to make it into a competitive jazz band.
Her introduction to DJing and turntablism was instantly love at first cut! The flow of 2 spinning decks is her favorite way to play, but that didn't stop her from learning and practicing the craft on every format at her disposal since the beginning of her DJ career. Be it CDJ's, Turntables, or a Controller, Static Quo comes to play!
