Like most renowned artists Trace Millis aka Stalence,developed a connection to music during early childhood via his church in Moneague St.Ann,Jamaica.His growing childlike fascination even led to the production of his own recordings done over his mothers gospel tapes despite the fact that he would be strongly reprimanded if caught.His passion could not be ignored and so music lessons were finally introduced when he was caught by his school teacher Ms.Walker, as he used the classroom desk to make beats while shouting scattered melodies from his yearning soul. She became his first music coach.
