Size: Adult Mantis usually grow from 2 to 5 inches long.

Head: Mantis have a triangular head that can turn a full 180 degrees.

Eyes: They possess five eyes—two large compound eyes and three smaller light-detecting eyes on top.

Legs: Their spiky front legs, called raptorial legs, snap out in milliseconds to grab prey.
