Original groover from the UK with more years on the decks than I care to remember, with my first club residency in 1979 - playing 60's & Northern Soul, British Beat Rhythm & Blues, Acid Jazz and Psychedelia crossing over into an eclectic early warehouse style in 1987 then a natural progression into Acid House. Since those early days I have played right through the House spectrum and had a pretty good run at DJ'ing - played internationally in 30 countries and at many iconic clubs along the way alongside some truly remarkable DJs. I only play private parties now and am usually tucked up in bed by 1am :)
So why am I doing DJ mixes at my age - there's some absolutely brilliant lesser-known tracks in my vinyl collection that need to be digitised, enjoyed, and discovered by a new generation of DJs and ravers before they are forgotten...or indeed before I'm 'brown bread' 😬
