Spektral (formally knowen as dj liquid) began his journey in drum and bass in early 2007, with the hosting of his night ‘UK Meltdown’, bringing names of Nicky Blackmarket, Phantasty, Uk Apache, Shabba, Fearless, General Levy, Hoodlum, and Phantom to his hometown of Leighton Buzzard.

He had started out mixing all styles of music from hip hop to garage to drum and bass, bringing about the DJ name of Liquid with the ability to blend genres but later on decided that a new more professional name that mirrored his mixing style spektral seemed perfect.
