Spectral Murda was born when J. Slai went over to NEXT LEVL's studio for a jam session. We discovered that we shared a lot of common ground, similar style, and great chemistry. Our duo was cemented together through a love of dance music and a passion for music production.

On January 19, 2018, Spectral Murda made their debut at Pure Nightclub in Sunnyvale CA, a nightclub known for hosting decorated artists like Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin, GTA, 3lau, and Tommy Trash.

Despite sharing many of the same interests, we are both inspired by different things that lead us to work seamlessly in a creative environment. Our biggest goal is to provide listeners with a blend of genres across the spectrum. We are not attached to one genre. Hybrid music is our calling.
