...speak&spell is an Berlin-based artist and producer duo, consisting of Alesio Phareira and el gato con botas.
While Alesio had his first solo releases on Tonkulturberlin, as well as on kicksomatic - but still under a different musical project, Gato was already active as an organizer of various open-air series and as a DJ in Berlin and Munich.
Through a joint DJ booking the duo speak&spell was born.
From the same musical passion and interests, a deep close friendship, developed together to produce their own music.
Their sound hovers between house, deep and tech house.
Driving percussion, pumpin kick drums, and a wide enthusiasm for Synthezisers, which often originate from their own arsenal of small self-built synthesizer, characterize their productions.
