About Segue[Canada]:

Segue is the musical project of Jordan Sauer, started in 2006 in Vancouver, Canada.

Jordan's background in music includes years of classical violin and acoustic guitar. These years of practice and experimentation were formative, instilling a desire to pursue his own productions and craft his own sound using modern technology. The sound of Segue aims to capture the serenity and beauty of the West Coast of Canada. Layers of warm, ambient sounds build up with dub-inspired rhythms, percussion and melodies. Rather than the sparse, cold atmospheres of many dub-techno productions, Segue's music paints a more optimistic, reflective chord. Each composition is created by mixing together acoustic instruments, field records and synthesizers, resulting in new but inviting sonic landscapes and vistas to explore.
