The steady amazement for music was the element that led Juan Olaya to begin a project that fluctuate between the shimmer of House, Techno, Electro and the soulful misty rain of pads in a landscape drawn by the deepest part of it. With magical sounds flowing under the accurate selection of rhythms, he recalls and recreates those unfinished stories told in the late 90’s Chicago-Detroit streets. This self-taught Colombian based composer, has achieved an approach to music overcoming stereotypes about a particular kind of equipment and slanting away from the current boastful meaning of DJing; wrapping emotions into a fascinating row of notes and colors; feeling music before understanding it.
