»Melting« (ep. 1-2)
by Rami Abadir
This Modulation Special features Rami’s »Melting«, Episodes 1-2 as part of his MA thesis project, supervised by Dr. Petra Klusmeyer and Prof. Dennis Paul, University of the Arts Bremen.
»Melting« echoes moments of the past in a fragmented and blurred manner, arranged in a non-linear structure using collage techniques. The project seeks to artistically and critically explore the implications of late capitalism's nostalgia. The MA thesis consists of several parts, i.e., a radio piece in two episodes, a written exposition and a web application: https://abadir-melting.netlify.app/
