Hegri's music might be best described as accessible progressive music. His ability to create dreamy melodies that touch you right in the heart makes the music although experimental, an easy and pleasant listen. He is based in Amsterdam but like his music, he's not confined by any borders. Using catchy, moving melodies usually found on a hit parae record and the depth and character of an avant-garde experimental record, Hegri tries to combine the best of two worlds.

Hegri's work has been recognised and praised by the likes of Tom Ravescroft of BBC 6 radio. Charlie Bones from London based radio station NTS, Ghostly International Records founder Mathew Dear, Caibou's Dan Snaith and many others.

As a DJ, expect to hear anything from 70's disco to hypnotic Berlin krautrock to African field recordings to electronic club bangers. He is not restricted by any genre, and will use any record to make you dance.
