Wilton Williams aka “Prentice” practically grew up in music and even though he did not know it at the time, his brain was manufacturing musical information and teachings that later became a source of his inspiration to become a great DJ. He remembered the days when he used to go into his grandfather’s storeroom, take out the records (all 78’s), and use them as flying saucers. Needless to say, the young prentice received numerous lashings because of his mischievous ways. From an early age, Prentice learned from his grandfather that innovation, knowledge, and talent were the main ingredients that would set him apart from his competition. That Soul Tone spirit is still alive today.
