Thanks Furio. I lived in West-Berlin when the German wall came down. And I saw Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, Gil Scott-Heron, Wilson Pickett, Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie Harris, Georgie Fame and the JB Horns there. Great memories, great city.
Impressive! Those must have been exciting times back then in West Berlin. I was 10 years old when the wall came down, and as a GDR boy, it was a decisive historical event for me at the time. My life would certainly have been different if the wall hadn't come down. And yes Berlin is still pretty awesome. Can't imagine living anywhere else. Thanks again for this great summer mix. Cheers!
