Lorenzo Nada is Godblesscomputers. Born in Italy, he first approached music through beat making and djing, led by an early passion for samplers and records. As an avid record collector, Godblesscomputers gathers sounds to explore, catalogue, dissect and eventually recompose them into his music. He blends a succession of living texture and impatient rhythms, pathos and silences, beats, thickening and long melancholic breathing space. Godblesscomputers began in 2011, when Lorenzo moved to Berlin. This name, at first conceived for a blog, became a signature of electronic productions stemming from the sounds and rhythms of black music, remaining rooted to the groove and warmth of his musical influences. Returning to Italy after three years abroad, Lorenzo released two LPs – ‘Veleno’ (Fresh yo!, 2014) and ‘Plush and Safe’ (LaTempesta International / Fresh Yo!, 2015). ‘Solchi’ is his latest work.
