A Goa party moves up towards the Arctic Circle to Laplander Country of Finland. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have here Finland's version of Trance. More specifically this mix is Psytrance/Goa centric. Suomisaundi, translated literally to Finland Sound, is just that. It is Trance that is more heavily guitar based of either 50/50 with piano synths of traditional Goa/Psytrance to about 70/30 ish. Given Finlands love for Rock/Metal, (Cough cough, Black/Death Metal) and folk strings, it shouldn't be too surprising. If you wanted to make an existing genre sound your own then this is it. Put Goa/Psytrance side by side with Suomisaundi, you can hear some simalarities but you can also hear some stark differences. Enjoy, Merry Xmas, and stay warm!
