Songwriters and Wordsmiths is a music night that takes place every three months or so at the Hootananny, a fantastic music venue in the heart of Brixton, South London every three months or so
- whenever we can get a slot. It's been happening for over fourteen years. It aims to showcase exceptional rising songwriters and wordsmiths and each night is a magical mix of the best up and coming folk and acoustic music to be found in the country. Songwriters and Wordsmiths on Morley Radio - celebrates these musicians with live sessions and interviews about songwriting process - it also celebrates brilliant songwriters and wordsmiths, past and present.
