Solmeca cut his teeth in the underground house scene in his native Chicago. The sweaty basements, lofts, and warehouses of Chicago created a hotbed of musical inspiration from DJ peers and became an endless well of influence with talent from several generations of the dance movement. Over the last 12 years Solmeca has performed alongside some of Chicago’s most respected house djs in venues ranging from local bars to summer music festivals.
