Welcome to Variant, where I'm delighted to be joined by Manu for this 1st edition.
He's one of Mixcloud's finest DJs, a connoisseur of fine Deep House, Deep Tech & Progressive sounds, as well as a genuinely great guy :-)
Variant 1.0 is an 84 minute collaboration covering a few different genres. Manu is kicking things off, and I take over just before minute 42.

Great collab mi amigos!! Manu, you kicked things off in style for sure. That 'Indecis' (Red Axes Remix) track is an absolute stunner, what an atmospheric tune to just get me hooked on the set straight away, top class! You of course only got better and better and spoiled us with track after track of pure quality from there on. Another standout for me was 'Mind Groove'...I dont think I possess the vocabulary to describe how great that is and what a great job you did overall mate! Then we move on to Steve...F@&k me did you choose them beautifully mate. 'A Chalice Of Secrets'....wow!! and the Heavenchord Reshape of 'Deep Tool'....double wow!!! The remix of 'Redness' was such a beaut of a finisher also. Well as you can both tell by now I really didnt like this at all ha ha! I really loved this gents, absolutely perfect collab from two top class DJs. I am glad to see the '1.0' which means there is more to come hopefully. Thanks for sharing, great work!!

Ha ha, many thanks amigo! :-> Agreed on Manu's opener, think it was perfect for this, and 'Mind Groove' was one of my favourites in that great first half too, such a tune. 'A Chalice of Secrets' was my steal from the lovely Hydrangea mix, been really itching to include that, and I can't give enough praise to that reshape of 'Deep Tool', stunner, sounds like a good title for a mix too :->> Thanks so much again mate, great to see you back from holiday all refreshed!

Wow ... proper showcase here guys ... twisting through different genres keeping the listener hooked. As everyone said stunning opening, killer tech vibe in that first half, then the signature dub sounds with some deep basslines ... loved it!!!!

excellent session fellas, some glorious moments amongst the superb over all feel of this show, some great progressions and mint mixing, Dreamless Sleep and Chaturanga was the cream of Manus half for me, and Shiprock in Steve half was an absolute stunner of a groove, love the wind down toward to end really nice flow, Before The End superb track also mates,,,, well bloody played, thanks for sharing ✊💙
