2013

When looking at my list of favourite albums of the past year, I see a lot of nostalgia, plenty of old loves returning, or the list of an ageing music lover. Boards of Canada, My Bloody Valentine, The Flaming Lips, Locust, Pan*American and µ-Ziq all delivered beautiful and sometimes really unexpected new albums this year. Thankfully there’s also some new blood in this list, with Forest Swords, Greg Haines and The Häxan Cloak, to keep things fresh.
