SNACKBAR the Ambassador is the moniker of transdisciplinary artist Matthias König, based in The Hague (NL), interweaving music, performance- and visual arts. With Snackbar the Ambassador, König has immersed himself in the 'celebration of the delirious life', exploring it from onorthodox perspectives by crossing genres and styles and making them his own. None the less, one can sense a strong influence of Cumbias and other tropical gems, cross-pollinated with South-German Carnaval and Krautrock electronics.
Snackbar the Ambassador released his first single "Iedere Dag Vakantie / Komkommertijd" in 2020 on Dutch record label ESC.REC, which is available as limited 7" vinyl edition on bandcamp: https://escrec.bandcamp.com/album/iedere-dag-vakantie
