About Smartkid, Omar Currie better known as Smartkid.
Managing Director of Smartkid Records Company Limited founded in 2007, As the years passed the company grew and it became necessary to launch Smartkid Records’ recording studio which is currently a multipurpose "state of art" recording studio located in Portmore, St. Catherine Jamaica. The studio was established in 2010 and is now recognized as one of the best multipurpose recording studios located in Portmore. The company also see it necessary to launch our official website in 2011, called smartkidrecords.com
One of his first projects involved producing and managing upcoming artistes such as Bono-G and Influential. Our studio specializes in audio editing and mixing, demo duplicates, vocal recordings, publishing, booking stage shows, event planning, etc. Smartkid originally started singing at a very early age but found that without adequate support it was not easy to make the transition into the music industry.
