In 1996 Linus became a resident D.J. for the London based sound system ‘Sancho Panza’. Famous for throwing the most elaborate warehouse parties and their ridiculous yearly event at the ‘Notting Hill Carnival’, ‘Sancho Panza’ inspired Linus and allowed him to re-fine his sound in front of huge and enthusiastic crowds. For seven consecutive years Linus played alongside D.J.'s, Sasha, Craig Richards, Lee Burridge and Layo and Bushwacka!.
In 1999 Linus left the record shop to open a recording studio called, ‘Mind Your Head’ with world famous producer Jony Lipsey aka Jony Rockstar. It was in this studio that Linus created his Slynus alter ego and the hugely successful record series that wound up being played by the likes of Jeff Mills, Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Sasha and Pete Tong.
