Founded by Luca Benini in 1989, Slam Jam was born to serve the underground long before the term streetwear even existed. Slam Jam's Long Format Audio Archive is a tool developed for the sequencing of a cross-genre range of long format audio files from interviews with industry gangbusters and artists, to newly-commissioned mixes, to recordings of live sets with the objective of offering listeners a deep experience of the Slam Jam community’s culture.
