Been at this since September 1995. Started with house, then to downtempo, hip-hop, funk, soul, lounge, soundtrack...now mostly psychedelic disco and indie soul/indie rock. But overall, most of these mixes are about selection/variety/transition/obscure versions. Yes it's almost all dance music, but if you're looking for hip hop just cuz it's hip hop, bludgeony dubstep, "EDM", or ridiculous, auto-piloted, button pushing mash-ups a la Girl Talk, look elsewhere, please. No Metallica vs Kanye here.
