Hi I just want to introduce myself
My name is Sjaak Smits aka DJ Grey, I was born on 17/10/64 in Jutphaas and I have been interested in different music styles from a very young age.
My first single I bought was from Donna Summer, after that many records and singles followed that used all my earned newspaper money.
The first time going out in Cartouch Utrecht was in 1992, I came into contact with dance music, I was ,..immedediately in love.
In that time I have already practiced a few times with a friend to play with vinyl, but it stayed with those few times.
At the time I preferred to dance rather than play at big dance parties, but the passion was born, especially once the Trance music came up.
Years later during a certain pandemic, a friend of mine bought a pioneer set and allowed him to practice on it.
I was so excited that I bought a set myself.
