Qualified as Reg Nurse in 1985 at Newham. Hence the eventual DJ name ‘Sista Jean’. Spent a decade caring for HIV/AIDS patients. Bought some SL10’s and a basic mixer around the early 90’s and as a result, was fortunate enough to play at some pretty wicked venues such as Turnmills, DTPM (Villa Stefano era), The Brixton Fridge and many warehouses.
