The Sir Lloyd Sound System was established back in 1979. The proprietor (Sir) Lloyd Robert's has passion for the underground music industry and also has gained a large number of high profile contacts, acquired through decades of being 'in the business'. This is clearly evident at the Sir Lloyd's carnival showcases. In recent years modern legends like Shy FX have dropped in to run the decks and Lily Allen has grabbed the mike to perform unexpectedly. At Carnival you can expect two days of predominantly R&B and reggae regardless of who shows up.
