Originating from Rochester NY and one of the original founders and Djs of Sin & CoS productions, DJ Kahncept has played a key role in starting and cementing the Junglist movement across upstate NY in the mid-late 90’s. This deejay has a love of Jungle/Drum & Bass that can only be rivaled by his love of cutting exclusive Reggae/Jungle/mash-up dubplates.
Also a Co-founder of Big League Chune Sound System in 2005 he has worked with countless reggae artists- Beenie Man, Spragga Benz, Cutty Ranks, Junior Reid, Mad Cobra, Robert Lee, as well as many premier talents from across the globe, remixing exclusive dubplates “inna Ragga Jungle/Dubwise Stylee“. 2010 witnessed Kahncept embarking on new projects to spread Jungle love and Soundclash vibes by partnering with the UK’s own DJ L.A.B and www.fatapejungle.com – the Jungle record label and online store was born.
