Simply Techno

Simply Techno is an Adelaide event series founded by DJ S4T, also known as Susie Dangov, to support underground techno and local selectors. Launched at The Austral in September 2025, it connects old-school influences with deep, hypnotic and driving techno, keeping sets below 150 BPM. Its residents have included S4T, Drew, Lucky Jnr, Devious and Jorge Watts, with guests chosen for their fit with the room rather than headline status. During Adelaide Fringe 2026, Simply Techno collaborated with Bassline Market on EastBlock Grooves before holding a residents-only Laneway Take Over at The Austral. It also joined The Front Room and Dance Floor Heretics to present Tales of Techno, headlined by CJ Bolland and Thomas Schumacher. The Club Sessions format at Electric Circus removed presales and announced headliners, placing attention on residents, guest selectors and programming from open to close. Simply Techno’s identity rests on sound, curation and opportunities for emerging Adelaide artists.
