I've been a Pediatric Nurse for 6 years. I'm very passionate about helping medically compromised children. The nurturing and compassion you must apply as a Pediatric Nurse is a completely different experience than any other nursing profession I have experienced. I have also been in the USN for 12 years and counting and NO I'm not a nurse in the military. I have decided to stay enlisted. I prefer to operate cranes, forklifts, and play with guns as a military member rather than nursing. =) I can switch hats from a crane operator to an armorer to a small arms tech at any moment. I love being able to have all the compassion and warmness as a nurse in my civilian life and all the "bad girl, down and dirty" in my military life.
