DJ Sam – The Social
Once a Wizard, always a master of the decks.
Originally known as The Wizard, DJ Sam has been behind the decks since 1990. Starting in the acid house, hardcore and rave scene, he became resident at Helter Skelter at Milwaukee's between 1991 and 1992, playing events across the UK and Europe. He later played Equinox before returning to DJing in the late '90s.
Having progressed through hard house, trance and progressive house, Sam now plays house, tech house, minimal tech house and reworked '80s and '90s classics, with influences spanning funk, disco, breaks, D&B and techno.
During Covid, Sam started streaming Friday-night DJ sets. In 2023, following Dean's 50th birthday party, Dean's idea became The Social, bringing together great music and local talent.
Sam's approach is simple: get his head down, find the groove and go for it.
The Wizard is still casting spells on the dancefloor!
