"Music gives me goosebumps!" - I've a DJ history that spans more than 20 years with at least as many countries around the world. Started collecting records at the age of 7 and was always playing parties for friends as a teenager.
I moved to Amsterdam in the 90s inspired by the (ware)House parties and it all took off from there....residencies in big clubs, travel etc (for details of those early years see http://simonmelia.blogspot.com )
In later years , producing, and becoming an audio/visual artist, with tightly synced visuals and dance music , saw me performing on bigger festival stages (Glastonbury (UK), Sziget (Hu), Oxegen (Ire), Splore (NZ) - more info http://www.thesmokeeaters.com
After a 3 year hiatus (two young children can do that to you!) I've returned to the decks under the name 'Simon Chamelian' (formerly DJ Chamelian) as that best describes my shifting style that fits the surroundings and vibe of the audience...
