A former Opera singer, managed by Luciano Pavarotti, Simon retired prematurely for health reasons, becoming an Artists’ Manager then Assistant to the composer Gian-Carlo Menotti. Inspired by the Maestro to take up composition, Simon relaunched in 2017 with his debut release The American Dream?
Two further singles quickly followed, Futureblind (Ray Tarantino remix) and Sei il mio Nomi, his tribute to Klaus Nomi. 2019 sees a debut album “Transgenre."
A student on Hans Zimmer’s Film Score Masterclass in 2017, in 2018 Simon wrote the scores to the movies ‘Bloodline," and ‘The Colour of Torment.' These join a growing body of media music work, including his USA debut as part of the Sundance Festival Community, at the Sundance Film Festival, California in 2019.
