Simeon Orbis is the sound of a cramped Toronto basement club at 3 am with sweat dripping from the ceiling and a wide-eyed crowd hypnotized by the relentless beat. The sonics are dark, deep, and with a driving drum machine in the lead role with synths and stabs as supporting actors in his dystopian underground drama.
Influenced by the sounds of Detlef, Loco Dice, Ghettoblaster, Dennis Ferrer, Claude Vonstroke, Green Velvet, Stefano Noferini, Gene Ferris, and many others.
With multiple available and upcoming releases on Rollerblaster Records & Klubinho, charting 48th in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno top 100 with his first single, as well as his bi-weekly residency on Data Transmission Radio, Simeon Orbis is an eclectic mad scientist behind the decks, and in the studio. Consistently on the bleeding edge with his selections, always testing out new grooves, while tweaking old ones, he never rests bringing new and exciting sounds to the dancefloor.
