Simbo is a DJ, producer and founder of HAPE Collective, a platform that produces musical encounters between Europe, Latin America and Africa. Since his adolescence he has spun house and disco records in Venice, Lisbon and London and later on he engaged with global rhythms in Senegal, Cuba, Congo and Venezuela, countries where he has lived and produced countless shows.

In Chad, he founded Pulo NDJ, a band that released his first album in 2019 on the New York based label Wonderwheel Recordings. In Venezuela, he has been at the forefront of several artistic projects, including the release of the album MADRE by Go Dugong and Washé in 2024. He is now based in Laos where he collaborates with CoMo, an avantgarde cultural platform in Vientiane.

Known for breaking cultural and stylistic barriers, his sets carry an explosive energy full of tropical, disco and Afro-futuristic influences.
