It’s been exactly 20 years since Siinus (Jesper Siinus Askjær) started crate digging and recording bad beginner’s mixes in his teenage bedroom in rural Denmark. Thankfully, he got better at recording mixes, and ended up being an active player in the Copenhagen electronic underground scene. From running nightclubs, hosting several club series and holding residencies at the finest clubs Copenhagen had to offer, counting legendary Culture Box and KB18, Siinus went far and wide in both Scandinavia and a good, long stint in Napoli too.

Being a dedicated B-side specialist, Siinus holds a passion for hard-to-find eclectics, scouring both thrift stores and weird record shops, searching for psych rock, Brasilian brass bands, and whatever else bizarre gems, but with a strong penchant for obscure techno and long-forgotten house from the olden days, and he likes to lay a base of slow dub before going deeper into the bag - and the sound.
